The Company has been involved in survey and land acquisition management for the Illinois Tollway since 1996, most recently completing a ten-year Project Management effort for Land Acquisition – I-11-4029. Project Tasks have included the preparation of route survey right-of-way plats, plats of easements and legal description as well as the robust use of GIS to manage the land acquisition efforts. Representative projects include the I-355 south extension, Elgin-O’Hare Expansion, O’Hare Western Bypass, and the reconstruction of I-57 and I-294. Our team managed the appraisers, negotiators, and land acquisition specialists in addition to leading the surveying and GIS efforts.
